BAPS Charities, San Jose held its second health awareness camp of the year on December 03, 2005 with the first being organized in summer on April 16, 2005. Health Awareness Camp in San Jose has been an annual event since last 7 years but starting this year it would be a bi-annual event. Over 50 medical and dental professionals provided an array of services, including Blood Pressure and Cholesterol Test, Cardiology, Diabetes, general health checkup, eye check up and CPR training session.

To address the scarcity of donors in the Bay Area, BAPS Charities also bi-annually teams up with Stanford Medical Center to hold Blood and Bone marrow drives as well during all their health awareness camps. 47 people donated blood, with 21 of them being first time donors.

Apart from providing health services, skilled professionals also conducted general health seminars to educate the participants about a range of topics including diabetes and yoga. Techniques for relieving stress and managing sinuses and other ailments were also presented. BAPS Charities has also been organizing Yoga classes to complement the benefits of the health camps.
