On National Children's day a group of children joined by their parents took medical examinations and educated themselves during general health seminars at a Health Fair organized by BAPS Charities in Edison.

With the support of more than 80 volunteer doctors which included cardiologists, internist, neurologists, dentists, dermatologist, ophthalmologists, urologists, obstetrician-gynecologists and medical technologists, the health fair offered consulting, tests and examinations for preventive health care measures.

A week before detailed blood analysis of 463 participants took place. With their blood analysis reports ready, today they received medical examinations which included, eye screenings, dental screenings, hearing tests, ENT examinations, Diabetes Consultations, dermatology screenings and physiotherapy guidance. Other tests included, EKG, bone density, pap smear, mammogram, and prostate screening.

In addition to consultations and tests, there were general health seminars to educate the public about a variety of topics including breast cancer awareness. Booths were set up by JFK Medical Center and other health care providers which provided guidance and valuable information.
