| BAPS Charities at 2008 AAHOA Annual Convention & Trade Show
The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) organized its Annual Convention and Trade Show at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, from March 26 through 29, 2008.
BAPS Charities participated in this event and had set up an information booth at the convention.
BAPS Charities and AAHOA have worked hand in hand on several projects in the past and are committed to serving the community. In the past AAHOA has supported BAPS Charities during the Gujarat Earthquake and had also declared BAPS Care International (previous name of BAPS Charities) as "Charity of the Year” in 2005.
Chairman of AAHOA, Ashwin “Ash” Patel visited the BAPS Charities booth. He introduced the BAPS Charities volunteers to the AAHOA members and applauded the activities of BAPS Charities and showed keen interest and support to the BAPS Pramukh Swami Hospital in Surat, India.
AAHOA members visited the BAPS Charities booth and took keen interest in learning about the health care facilities of BAPS Charities. In addition, they also acquainted themselves about the community services of BAPS Charities in the fields of education, environment and disaster relief.
