BAPS Charities Food Drive, Dar-es-Salaam

BAPS Charities organized a food drive at the Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team Mission in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. Volunteers distributed daily amenities to over to over 300 families. The 400 children of these families were overjoyed to received cookies, candies, chips and shoes.  Following is the list of items distributed:

• 1200 kg wheat flour
• 600 kg rice
• 600 kg salt
• 600 kg sugar
• 600 bottles drinking water
• 900 packets of Laundry soap
• 600 packets of bathing soap
• 300 pieces of tooth paste
• 600 pieces of tooth brushes
• 300 tins of petroleum jelly
• 300 packets of Tea

Following was distributed among children

• 2000 pieces of chocolates, candy and sweets
• 400 packets of cookies
• 400 bottles of Fruit Juice
• 400 packets of chips
• 1 pair of shoes and slipper
