BAPS Charities donates an Emergency Cardiology Suite at Adventist GlenOaks Hospital

November 18, 2008
Chicago, IL, USA

BAPS Charities donated an Emergency Cardiology Suite at Adventist GlenOaks Hospital in Chicago on November 18, 2008.  The facility will include general and medical surgical care, intensive care, trauma center and cardiac intensive care. The Emergency Cardiology Suite is the first of its kind set up to provide immediate assistance to patients.

This donation was made possible because of the funds raised by young and old at the BAPS Charities annual walkathon. The Adventist Glen Oaks Hospital has been the beneficiary of the BAPS Charities Walkathon in Chicago for the past four years.

Speaking on the occasion, Lewis Brinsley, Chief Executive Officer of Adventist Glen Oaks Hospital said, "It is a great honor that Adventist GlenOaks Hospital has been chosen to be the recipient of this generous gift for Cardiology Wellness. I appreciate the commitment of BAPS Charities to serve the community.”   The Executive Director of the Foundation Karen Lawler, Marketing Manager Tina Marie Johnson also showed their appreciation and gratitude to BAPS Charities for their support.
