BAPS Charities participated in the 3rd Annual Conference on Hunger on March 1, 2011. On behalf of BAPS Charities, Suketu Patel, presented on Nutritional Considerations
for Vegetarians to over 100 nutrition educators hosted by Widener University. This presentation was part of a special panel formed to understand multicultural disparities affecting food and nutrition availability in disadvantaged diverse communities. Conference attendees were glad to hear that over 60 BAPS Charities centers across North America would be presenting the same presentation on March 27th to over 10,000 people as BAPS Charities commemorates March being national nutrition awareness month.
