 FINANCIAL AID
BAPS child and youth volunteers
of London, Great Britain, raised funds for the people of
Ethiopia's famine through a variety of means. On 27 January
1985, BAPS child members presented a cheque of £2,315
to the Ethiopian Relief Fund through the Minister of State's
Under Secretary for Northern Ireland, Mr. Rod Boyson.
Mr. Boyson commented, “Just as
one cares and feels responsible for members of one's family,
you also look after those in hardships. Your work is highly
commendable.” |
