Swaminarayan School Nagpur
The Swaminarayan School Nagpur
was the first english medium school created by the BAPS Charities in India. The school was inaugurated
in June 1997 and has become a leading insititution among
the top schools in Nagpur.
Presently, pre-primary classes
and onwards are offered. More classes are in development.
Teaching classes up to the 7th grade will be implemented
by 2005. Thereafter, grades will increase, annually, to
the 10th grade (S.S.C.).
The present student body comprises
of 775 students from all over Gujarat and Maharashtra. The
Swaminarayan School is recognized by the State Board of
Maharashtra and from next year, the school will receive
C.B.S.E. affiliation.
For the last two years, there has
been a great demand for the development of hostels on campus.
BAPS Charities has decided to fulfill this request and begin
offering Hostel/Residential facilities from June 2004.
