In order to create greater awareness of good dental health habits, BAPS Charities organized a Dental Hygiene Awareness Day specifically aimed towards the children on August 14, 2011.  59 children between the ages of 4 and 10 learned about the importance of brushing their teeth and flossing daily. The event started with a cartoon movie about importance of dental hygiene followed by a question and answer session.

At the conclusion of the event all the children received  a goodie bag which included items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, coloring book and sand timers so that the children could measure the time it should take them to properly brush their teeth.

At the end of the lecture, the childrenlearned how to take better care of their teeth and the risks of poor dental hygiene, and it has given them an opportunity to show off their beautiful smiles.
