BAPS Charities Health Awareness Lectures on Cancer Prevention & Cure

It is estimated that about 7.6 million people or about 20,000 deaths a day occur due to cancer. By 2050, the global burden is expected to grow to 27 million new cancer cases and 17.5 million cancer deaths simply due to the growth and aging of the population.

BAPS Charities believes that health education is integral to excellent health care hence a Health Awareness Lecture on Cancer Prevention and Cure was organized at over 40 centers in English and Gujarati language.  

Participants learned about the types of cancer, causes, treatment and how it can be prevented by modifying our life style. The health lecture was followed by a question and answer session.
