Back Care Basics

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), back injuries account for one of every five injuries and illnesses in the workplace. These injuries include sprains, strains, nerve related and/or bone related injuries. Eight out of every 10 people (80% of all) will suffer from back pain at some time in their lives.
BAPS Charities organized a health awareness lecture on December 26, 2010 at over 50 centers in North America informed the participants on the causes, prevention and treatment of back problems. The presentation laid emphasis on simple care could help prevent major back injuries.
