My name is Vishnu. I am writing to thank you on behalf of my family and me for conducting the BAPS Charities Health Fair in San Antonio. It was very helpful event for our family. I brought my father-in-law to the camp and we got his complete blood test done. The following day we got a call from the doctor who was overseeing the health fair regarding the test results for my father-in-law. He recommended we take my father-in-law to the emergency care immediately because of abnormality in the test results. Volunteer Doctors of BAPS Charities called me to follow-up and to check if our family needed any help taking my father-in-law to the hospital. It is because of the BAPS Charities Health Fair that we were able to take care of my father-in-law in time. I am so glad we came to the BAPS Charities Health Fair and thank you very much for conducting the health camp. Thank you for all your personal help and follow up. I would like to express my sheer gratitude and respect for BAPS Charities’ selfless service and support you provided to me in my time of anxiety and a fear of developing a nearly fatal disease. On the day of the health fair, When I explained my physical ailment and the need for an urgent report, BAPS Charities got my reports done within the shortest possible time, because you understood the need for the urgency and you called me six times in two hours to give me the report and also guided me to approach the right doctor. The doctor went the extra mile to accommodate my urgent appointment, went through my details and reassured me that my condition is not malignant. And that is what a patient expects from his doctor- reassurance. What a relief it was to know that my condition was not fatal.
