Education is everybody's human right and is the cause for BAPS Charities' commitment to girls' education. It means that no girl, however poor, however desperate her country's situation, is to be excluded from school. There is no excuse for denying her the opportunity to develop to her fullest potential. Education will:

• Save and improve the lives of girls and women
• Allows women greater control of their lives
• Provides them with skills to contribute to their society
• Enables them to make decisions for themselves and to influence their families
• Help with equal participation in government and economy
