Ended 8 years ago

Jun 1, 2016 - Jun 30, 2016

An individual trek to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, in June 2016 to raise money for BAPS Charities.

Known as the “Roof of Africa”, Mount Kilimanjaro peaks at 5,895 metres (19,341 feet) above sea level.

Besides its altitude, one of the most challenging aspects of climbing Mount Kili is the temperature – it can fluctuate from below freezing to 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) in a day.

The trek will last a total of 9 days using the Northern Route.
