COVID-19 Pandemic: Food and KN95 Face Masks Donated to Frontline Workers in Richmond, VA

As the United States continues to grapple with COVID-19, access to nourishment and personal protective equipment (PPE) have become major concerns, especially for those working long hours on the front line. In gratitude and recognition of the heroic services, BAPS Charities provided 270 hot vegetarian meals and donated 200 KN95 face masks to the following Chesterfield County Police Department, Chesterfield County Fire and EMS Department, St. Mary’s Hospital, Richmond, VA and Henrico Doctors Hospital – Forest Campus in Richmond, VA.

Captain Martin of Chesterfield Police Department said, “Chesterfield Police Department would like to thank BAPS Charities for gracious donations of the drinks, food and the masks.  It is wonderful to know that our community is so supportive.”
