We Walk Together 2020 Events Postponed
As concerns around the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to grow, BAPS Charities has been closely monitoring the guidance of public health agencies to decide how best to proceed with We Walk Together 2020, supporting the work of Susan G. Komen and hundreds of local non-profits across the United States. These events across North America will welcome thousands of walkers of all ages.
However, health and government officials have recommended that events with large gatherings be postponed. We feel it is our duty to be proactive in protecting the health and safety of our volunteers, families, and our local communities.
For these reasons, We Walk Together 2020 events have been postponed until further notice. Towards the end of April, we will reassess the situation to make further decisions.
Online fundraising will resume when events are rescheduled.
On behalf of all of us at BAPS Charities, we thank you for your understanding, and beyond all, your recognition of the power each of us has to save lives.
