Opinions

I have been participating as a volunteer health professional at this particular annual health fair for over 7 years now. The health fair is well organized and helps many people in the community.
Gita Sampat RN, St Mary Medical Center

Screening the health of people proactively and taking proactive care is valuable. Because many times we ignore health and something comes up and hits us so it is always better to take preventive care. So this is a program that will help quite a bit.
– Rama Sitapati, Health Fair Participant

I do think annual blood work and regular blood pressure checking are important because there are things like high blood pressure you wouldn’t feel unless it was tested. Everything ran very smoothly. The pre-registration really did work out nice. Everyone seemed to benefit from it.

St Mary Medical Center and BAPS Charities have a working partnership. In particular I participate at many BAPS Charities health events like Health Fairs and Pink Sari Women’s Health Workshops to improve community access to free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women.
