BAPS Charities Walk-Run 2025 in Tampa, FL

On June 1, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Tampa, FL, for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run.” This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of the Children’s Cancer Center, raising awareness for children and their families who are battling pediatric cancer or chronic blood disorders with emotional, financial and educational support while promoting service and well-being.
With nearly 1,000 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages, including Tampa City Council members Guido Maniscalco and Luis Viera, Former NFL MVP Dexter Jackson, and President of the Tampa Firefighters Charity Fund, Alex Canasi who joined in solidarity for the cause. Reflecting on the day’s impact, Chief Operating Officer Brittany Rudolph from the Children’s Cancer Center shared, “The volunteers of BAPS Charities are so selfless that 1,000 people will wake up at 6:00 AM on a Sunday, all eager to give back to their community.”

This BAPS Charities Walk-Run in Tampa is one of over 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting important causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity.
