BAPS Charities Walk-Run 2025 in St. Louis, MO

On June 1, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Saint Louis, Missouri, for its annual Spirit of Service: Walk-Run. This inspiring event supported the many initiatives of BAPS Charities, which mobilizes the collective spirit of volunteers to serve individuals, families, and communities across five key areas: Community Empowerment, Educational Services, Environmental Protection and Preservation, Health and Wellness, and Humanitarian Relief. Together, these efforts inspire selfless service and help build stronger communities, a healthier nation, and a better world.

With over 650 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages, including Teri Violet, State Representative from Saint Peters; Shane Mooning, Police Chief of Maryland Heights; Joe Monahan, Detective with the Florissant Police Department; and Steven Brandon, Police Chief of Hazelwood. All joined in solidarity for the cause. Reflecting on the day’s impact, Emma Klues from Great Rivers Greenway expressed her appreciation for the meaningful community engagement and collaboration that events like this foster.

This BAPS Charities Walk-Run is one of over 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting important causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity.
