BAPS Charities Walk-Run 2025 in Cincinnati, OH

On June 1, 2025, BAPS Charities hosted its annual In the Joy of Others: Walk-Run in Cincinnati, Ohio, benefiting the Sharonville Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” program.

The event brought together nearly 250 community members, from children to seniors, all united in support of this meaningful initiative that helps build bonds between law enforcement and the families they serve.

A highlight of the day was the presence of Sharonville Police Chief James C. Nesbit II, who served as the chief guest. His attendance underscored the strong partnership between law enforcement and the community and reaffirmed a shared commitment to building trust and collaboration through service.

Participants not only promoted a healthier lifestyle but also contributed to a collective effort aimed at addressing local needs. The event served as a powerful reminder of the positive impact that community-driven action can have in uplifting and supporting one another.

This BAPS Charities Walk-Run is one of more than 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative supporting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful and lasting impact through compassion, service, and unity.
