On May 31, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Collierville, TN, for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run.” This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of Tomahawk Charitable Solutions and Ole Miss Student Veterans Association raising awareness for support of veterans while promoting service and well-being.
With nearly 300 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages, including Senior Advisor to the Tennessee Governor John DeBerry, State Representatives Joe Towns, Mark White and Jesse Chism, as well as Collierville Mayor Maureen Fraser and Germantown Mayor Mike Palazzolo who joined in solidarity for the cause. Reflecting on the day’s impact, Jesse Parkman from the Ole Miss Student Veterans Association shared, “Thank you, BAPS Charities, for helping veterans, their families, and supporting veteran causes.”
This BAPS Charities Walk-Run is one of over 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting important causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity.
