Nationwide Blood Donation Drive – Kenya, June 2025

On Sunday, 29th June 2025, BAPS Charities chapters across Kenya conducted a Nationwide Blood donation drive, collecting 751 pints of blood to save lives.
Hospitals across the country urgently need large volumes of blood to save lives, yet a severe shortage at blood banks continues to put countless patients at risk.

Over the years, BAPS Charities has partnered with the Kenya Tissue and Transplant Authority (KTTA) to organize nationwide blood donation drives, helping save lives and support
communities as well as hospitals across Kenya.

This year, KTTA collected a total of 751 pints of blood from the following 13 BAPS Charities chapters across Kenya:
1. Bomet – 50
2. Eldoret – 45
3. Kakamega – 63
4. Kericho – 25
5. Kerugoya – 11
6. Kisumu – 53
