On May 31, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Indianapolis, IN, for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run.” This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of the Greenwood Fire Department, raising awareness of its vital role in protecting lives and property through emergency response, fire prevention, and community education, while promoting service and well-being. With over 350 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages.
This BAPS Charities Walk-Run is one of more than 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting important causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity.
