BAPS Charities proudly hosted an exciting community youth cricket tournament in Edmonton, Alberta, on September 13, 2025, bringing together over 60 enthusiastic participants across six teams from diverse communities across the city.
The one-day tournament was a celebration of sportsmanship, physical activity, and community spirit. The event delivered thrilling matches and memorable moments on the field. Outstanding individual performances were also recognized with awards for Best Batter and Best Bowler.
A special Team Spirit Award was presented to the team that best exemplified unity, collaboration, and camaraderie throughout the tournament, underscoring the values of teamwork and mutual respect.
Beyond showcasing a passion for cricket, the event encouraged youth to prioritize health and well-being in their busy lives by engaging in active, meaningful pursuits. It also provided a unique platform for building friendships and strengthening bonds within and across communities.
