As part of Community Service Initiative 2025, this December, BAPS Charities partnered with the City of Chino Hills in Los Angeles to adopt a local family for the holiday season, turning compassion into tangible support. The adopted family of seven was provided with thoughtfully selected essentials, clothing, toys, books, and personalized items for each family member, along with shared household necessities to support the entire family. The initiative was designed not only to meet material needs but also to uplift spirits and create a sense of belonging during the holidays.
What made the effort especially meaningful was the collective heart behind it—over a dozen BAPS Charities volunteer families came together to embrace this family as one of their own. Volunteers coordinated donations and ensured every item reflected care and dignity. This partnership exemplified the spirit of selfless service, showing how community collaboration can transform the holiday season into a time of connection, generosity, and hope for families in need.
