BAPS Charities Women’s Youth Volleyball Tournament 2026, Toronto, ON

BAPS Charities hosted a women’s indoor volleyball tournament in Toronto, Ontario, aimed at encouraging physical fitness, teamwork, and a strong sense of community among youth. The event took place on February 14-15, 2026, and brought together approximately 100 participants from across Southern Ontario, creating an atmosphere of friendly competition and connection.

The tournament created a supportive and empowering environment for participants.

“It was so great making new friends and trying new things,” said Pari Shah, a participant from Guelph, ON. “I was nervous because I hadn’t played competitively in a while, but my team made me feel so welcome and appreciated!”

Beyond the competition, the event reinforced a collective enthusiasm for volleyball and motivated youth to stay active and prioritize their well-being despite busy schedules. It also provided a meaningful opportunity for participants to connect, build friendships, and strengthen community ties across the region.

“Such initiatives play a vital role in empowering women by providing opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and personal growth, while also inspiring the younger generation to actively participate and contribute within the organization,” said Riya Patel, BAPS Charities Women’s Activities Lead in Toronto.

In addition to sports initiatives, BAPS Charities continues to engage youth through initiatives such as its annual Walkathon supporting local causes, and its Youth Conference, focused  on career development and personal growth.
