BAPS Charities Uganda and Indian Community Organise a Blood Donation Drive – August, 2026

On 25th August 2026, BAPS Charities Uganda, in collaboration with the Indian Community Gulu Uganda, organised a blood donation drive in Gulu, Uganda.

The drive received enthusiastic participation from people across the community. Youths, elders, ladies, and members of the wider Indian community came forward to donate blood. A significant 300 units of blood were collected during the drive. The contribution will help support patients in need of blood and strengthen local blood supplies.

The Blood Bank team appreciated the discipline and cleanliness maintained throughout the event. They also commended the selfless spirit shown by the donors and volunteers. The successful drive reflects the power of community collaboration. It also highlights the importance of coming together to support those in need.

BAPS Charities Uganda sincerely thanks every donor, volunteer, and well-wisher who supported the initiative. Their generosity and commitment made the drive a success.
