On June 21, 2025, BAPS Charities hosted a volleyball tournament in Cambridge, Ontario to promote physical activity, teamwork, and community spirit among youth. The tournament welcomed 63 participants from various communities across the Region of Waterloo area for a day filled with friendly competition and camaraderie.
The event culminated in an awards ceremony, where the winning team was presented with a championship trophy. Additional honours were awarded to the Best Player and the team that best demonstrated unity and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
This successful event not only highlighted a shared passion for volleyball but also inspired youth to prioritize wellness and engage in positive, health-focused activities despite their busy schedules. It also served as a valuable platform for networking and relationship-building among young people from across the city.
In addition to sports tournaments, BAPS Charities hosts an annual Walkathon in support of local charities and an annual Youth Conference focused on career planning and personal development.
