On April 4, 2026, BAPS Charities organized an indoor volleyball tournament in Edmonton, Alberta, aimed at encouraging youth to stay active while fostering teamwork and a strong sense of community. The event brought together 84 participants from across the city, creating an atmosphere of friendly competition and mutual support.
The tournament concluded with a closing ceremony, where the winning team was awarded the championship trophy. Individual recognition was also given to the Best Player, along with an award for the team that demonstrated outstanding unity and sportsmanship throughout the day.
This initiative successfully brought youth together through sport, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. It also created opportunities for participants to connect, have fun, and build lasting relationships within the community.
Beyond sporting events, BAPS Charities continues to lead initiatives such as its annual Walk/Run in support of local causes and its Youth Conference, which emphasizes career guidance, leadership development, and personal growth.
