On April 19, 2025, BAPS Charities hosted an indoor volleyball tournament in Edmonton, Alberta to promote physical activity, teamwork, and community spirit among youth. The tournament brought together 120 participants from across the Greater Edmonton Area for a day of spirited matches and meaningful connections.
The event culminated in an awards ceremony, where the winning team was presented with a championship trophy. Additional honours were awarded to the Best Player and the team that best demonstrated unity and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
This event not only highlighted a shared passion for volleyball but also inspired youth to prioritise wellness and engage in positive, health-focused activities despite their busy schedules. It also served as a valuable platform for networking and relationship-building among young people from across the city.
In addition to sports tournaments, BAPS Charities hosts an annual Walkathon in support of local charities and an annual Youth Conference focused on career planning and personal development.
