On March 14, 2015, BAPS Charities hosted an informative seminar, “Understanding Canadian Immigration” in the presence of Hon. Chris Alexander, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration. More than 600 participants attended this informative session to learn about the very vital and sometimes complex subject of Canadian Immigration laws, in particular, details about the new Express Entry Program and various other opportunities for permanent residents, landed immigrants and foreign students in Canada.
Special guests joining the Minister included, Senator Victor Oh and Ms. Lucille Leblanc, Employer Liaison Network (ELN), Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
