BAPS Charities organized one-day youth cricket tournament in Winnipeg, Manitoba, aimed at encouraging youth to stay active while fostering teamwork and a strong sense of community. Held on July 18, 2026, the event brought together more than 78 participants from across the region, creating an atmosphere of friendly competition, sportsmanship, and mutual support.
Throughout the weekend, teams competed in a series of exciting matches that showcased skill, determination, and collaboration. Participants demonstrated enthusiasm both on and off the field, contributing to a positive environment where youth could connect, build friendships, and enjoy the spirit of the game.
The tournament concluded with a closing ceremony, where the championship team was presented with the tournament trophy. Individual recognition was also given to outstanding performers, including awards for Best Batter and Best Bowler, along with a Team Spirit Award recognizing the team that best exemplified unity, cooperation, and sportsmanship throughout the event.
