COVID-19 Pandemic: BAPS Charities donates $5,000 to the Bethesda Hospital Foundation in Miami, FL

The outbreak of COVID-19 has created a global health crisis that profoundly impacted the way we perceive our world and our everyday lives. The pandemic has created an unprecedented health crisis in the North Alabama region, served by 10 hospitals within the Huntsville Hospital system. On August 26, 2020, BAPS Charities showed their support for the incredible work taking place at the Bethesda Hospital Network by donating $5,000 to its foundation of healthcare professionals and staff working around the clock in these unprecedented times.

Bethesda Hospitals continue to do an incredible job in delivering top of the line health care to its patients. They have also invested in creating a strong sense of unity and citizenship amongst their team members, many of who serve beyond their roles in the hospitals by giving back to their communities. As per, Penny Morgan, Foundation Manager for the Bethesda Hospital, the contribution from BAPS Charities will go a long way in serving essential frontline workers at Bethesda Hospitals and the communities they serve.

BAPS Charities is grateful for the continuous and selfless efforts of all local community professionals during these challenging times. Its volunteers across North America continue to evaluate situations to effectively provide support by donating funds, food, and protective equipment.
