COVID-19 Pandemic: BAPS Charities Delivers Hot meals to Health Care Professionals at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles

On April 27, 2020, BAPS Charities reached out to Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles to provide 300 hot meal donations as a means to support our healthcare heroes.

Globally, COVID-19 has impacted the lives of countless frontline workers as they work tirelessly to protect their communities. As BAPS Charities embodies the motto, “The Spirit of Service” several volunteers united to provide support through their donations of 300 hot meals to CHLA. These fresh vegan meals consisted of Pasta Primavera, Herb Bread, and fruit. BAPS Charities was able to show their gratitude to all the front line workers by providing a whole-hearted meal, as they work tirelessly to provide service to society.

Annie Cornforth, a director at CHLA stated “On behalf of our frontline and emergency response staff members at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, I would like to thank BAPS Charities for their generous donation of hundreds of meals. The kindness and generosity of this donation was so impactful during this challenging time.”

During this difficult time, BAPS Charities continues to provide the utmost support for the community in order to lend a hand as a form of relief.
