Blood Donation Drive in Kampala, Uganda – April, 2024

On Sunday, 14th April 2024, BAPS Charities Uganda organised a blood donation drive at the BAPS Mandir in Kampala, successfully collecting 80 pints of blood to support and save lives.

Across the country, hospitals continue to grapple with a critical shortage of blood. Patients requiring emergency care, major surgeries, and ongoing treatment for chronic conditions rely heavily on a steady supply of safe blood. However, the growing gap between demand and availability at blood banks places countless lives in jeopardy each day.

During this crucial time, BAPS Charities expresses its sincere appreciation to the generous donors who stepped forward with compassion and selflessness. Your contribution has offered renewed hope to patients, reassurance to their families, and vital support to the healthcare system.

Guided by a strong spirit of service and community upliftment, BAPS Charities remains dedicated to addressing national healthcare needs. Through continued blood donation initiatives, we strive to strengthen the country’s blood reserves and encourage more individuals to take part in this life-saving effort.
