Donation of Medicines to Misa Kabanda Foundation – August 2025

In a continued effort to support accessible and equitable healthcare in Uganda, BAPS Charities donated essential medicines to the Misa Kabanda Foundation in support of a medical camp held on 10 August, 2025.

The Misa Kabanda Foundation commended BAPS Charities for its timely and impactful contribution, noting that the donated medicines played a vital role in the successful delivery of healthcare services during the camp. The medical camp served residents from surrounding areas who often face limited access to routine medical care due to geographical and economic challenges. The medicines provided supported the treatment of common illnesses and conditions, helping to bridge critical gaps in medical supplies and enhance the quality of care offered during the outreach.

This support is expected to significantly enhance the effectiveness of the medical camp by ensuring the availability of essential medicines and treatments, reducing preventable health risks, and strengthening overall community health outcomes. By enabling early diagnosis and timely treatment, the initiative also contributes to long-term health awareness and disease prevention within the community.

The initiative reflects the guiding values of BAPS Charities, inspired by the teachings of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, “In the joy of others lies our own,” and Mahant Swami Maharaj, “Service to humanity is service to God.” These principles continue to guide BAPS Charities in its commitment to compassionate service and sustainable humanitarian impact.
