BAPS Charities UK hosted the Yogi Yuva Cup, an indoor community cricket tournament for youths, on Sunday 11 May 2025 at Woodside Leisure Centre, Parmiters School, and BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London.
A total of 32 teams and over 300 enthusiastic participants from local communities across the UK came together for a day of spirited competition, sportsmanship, and community bonding.
The group stage matches offered a thrilling display of skill, synergy, and strategy, with fast-paced games from start to finish. The excitement built steadily as the top two teams in each group vied for a place in the knockouts.
After a series of tightly contested games, it was Wellingborough A who emerged victorious, overcoming a resilient West London A in the final to lift this year’s Yogi Yuva Cup trophy. Vihaan Bankley of Wellingborough earned the title of Best Bowler, while Vatsal Patel of West London A took home the Best Batsman accolade for his consistent performances throughout the day.
