COVID-19 Pandemic: Donation of 1,000 Surgical Masks to Hospitals in Atlanta, GA

As countless Americans continue to practice social distancing to decrease the spread of the COVID-19, healthcare workers and emergency service providers are working tirelessly to treat those affected. To support their continued efforts, BAPS Charities donated 500 surgical masks to Emory Johns Creek Hospital in Johns Creek, GA, and 500 surgical masks to Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA on April 22, 2020.

Heather Redrick, Chief Nursing Officer of Emory Johns Creek Hospital, accepted the donation on behalf of the Emory Johns Creek Hospital and remarked, “Thank you for these much-needed surgical masks. It was sure good to see the community and BAPS Charities support us.”

BAPS Charities is grateful to its volunteers for helping to keep the community healthy. Beyond the recent donation, BAPS Charities has organized and implemented several online awareness campaigns on how to stay healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
