On June 1, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Austin, TX, for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run.” This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of the Central Texas Food Bank, raising awareness about hunger relief and food insecurity while promoting service and well-being.
With over 375 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages, including City of Cedar Park Council member Anne Duffy, who joined in solidarity with the cause. Reflecting on the day’s impact, Council member Duffy shared, “It’s a pleasure to be a part of all the things you do for the community and to bring awareness about food insecurity in our community.”
This BAPS Charities Walk-Run in Tampa is one of over 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting important causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity.
