Opinions:

I’m a diabetic and I applaud BAPS Charities for this walkathon and all the community services. I’m amazed to see all these young children and elderly here on a Sunday morning to support American Diabetes Association’s three pillars of its mission delivery: research, advocacy and education and its goal of building healthier lives.

  • U.S. Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr.

Thank you for supporting our mission and helping to turn our vision of a world free of diabetes and its consequences into a reality. We appreciate the work BAPS Charities is doing to raise awareness and funding to support ADA’s mission.

  • Jennifer Weidenbaum, Director, Development and Community Initiatives, American Diabetes Association

BAPS Charities has been a great organization in our city for past thirteen years. I congratulate BAPS Charities for being the role model in our local community. I applaud all the volunteers for their service and dedication and appreciate your support to the city of Clifton.

  • Mayor Jim Anzaldi, City of Clifton

Good physical health and strong communities are interconnected and I congratulate BAPS Charities for its community involvement, grassroots education, awareness programs and its partnership with ADA. South Asians immigrants in U.S. are seven times more likely to have diabetes than the general population and as a daughter of an Indian immigrant I’m speechless when I see what BAPS Charities is doing for the community.
