In Western populations, acid reflux disease affects approximately 20% of the population, and 0.4% develop the condition newly. To raise awareness on this topic, BAPS Charities hosted a health lecture on March 2, 2014, in Corpus Christi. Dr. Girish Patel, Gastroenterologist, presented the health lecture explaining the symptoms, aggravating factors, diagnosis, and treatment of Acidity and reflux disease.
