BAPS Charities Walk-Run 2025 in Dothan, AL

On May 31 2025, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Dothan, AL, for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run.” This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of three local beneficiaries: the ALS FoundationKids to Love, and United Cerebral Palsy of East Central Alabama. The event raised awareness for neurodegenerative diseases, child welfare, and cerebral palsy, while promoting service, compassion, and community well-being.

With over 100 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages, including Dothan City Mayor Mark Saliba, who joined in solidarity for the cause, demonstrating broad-based community support. Reflecting on the day’s impact, Alana Joseph from the ALS Foundation shared, “Your presence and support mean so much. This walk not only brings attention to the challenges faced by those living with ALS, but also plays a vital role in funding research, supporting patients and families, and moving us closer to finding a cure.”

This BAPS Charities Walk-Run in Dathan is one of over 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting important causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity.
