On June 1, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Greenville, SC, for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run.” This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of Neighborhood Cancer Connection, helping raise awareness for the essential support they provide to individuals throughout their cancer journey—all while promoting service and well-being.
With nearly 315 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages who came together in solidarity for the cause. Reflecting on the day’s impact, Lisa Colby, Executive Director of Neighborhood Cancer Connection, shared, “I couldn’t be happier to be here at the Walk, and I can’t thank BAPS Charities enough.”
The BAPS Charities Walk-Run in Greenville is one of more than 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact by supporting important causes and fostering a spirit of service and unity.
