On June 1, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Kansas City, KS, for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run.” This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of Shawnee Community Services, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing food, clothing, and household essentials to families in need—while also promoting service and well-being.
With over 275 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages who joined in solidarity for the cause.
The BAPS Charities Walk-Run in Kansas City is one of over 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting important causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity.
