On Jun 01, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the community together in Minneapolis, MN, for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run.” This inspiring event encouraged participants to step forward in support of the West Suburban Fire District, raising awareness for fire safety, prevention programs, and their vital mission of providing fire protection and emergency services to our local communities while promoting service and well-being.
With over 400 participants, the event welcomed individuals of all ages, including State Representative Kristin Robbins, State Representative Mary Frances Clardy, Fire Department firefighters Nicole West, and Kiran Bandi, who joined in solidarity for the cause. This BAPS Charities Walk-Run is one of over 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting important causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity
