On June 8, 2025, BAPS Charities brought the Milford, CT, community together for its annual “Spirit of Service: Walk-Run,” held in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Milford. The event aimed to raise awareness and funds for the organization’s impactful work in empowering youth through education, mentorship, and community engagement, while also promoting health, well-being, and service among participants.
With over 200 walkers of all ages and backgrounds, the event was a celebration of unity and giving. Among the distinguished attendees were Mayor Tony Giannattasio of Milford and State Representative Kathy Kennedy, who both joined the community in walking to support this meaningful cause.
This BAPS Charities Walk-Run is one of over 100 similar events held across North America as part of a broader initiative benefiting local organizations. For over 20 years, BAPS Charities has organized more than 1,100 walks, making a meaningful impact in communities by supporting important causes and promoting a spirit of service and unity.
