COVID-19 Pandemic: Donation of 2,000 Surgical Masks and Water Bottles to Orange County Sheriffs’ Department in Orlando, FL

Although countless Americans continue to practice social distancing to decrease the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, the scarcity of personal protective equipment (PPE) continues to be a major challenge in various parts of the US including Orlando, Florida.

On April 30, 2020, BAPS Charities donated 2000 surgical masks and water bottles to the Orange County Sheriffs’ Office in Orlando, FL.

The Orange County Sheriffs’ office accepted the donation and sent a tweet of gratitude stating: “Grateful for the support shown by @BAPSCharities who brought masks for our deputies & donated water to our team. Thank you for your support as we all work together to #slowthespread of #COVID19”.

BAPS Charities is grateful to its volunteers for helping to keep the community healthy.
