BAPS Charities hosted over 567 participants at its annual Health Fair on November 18, 2017 in Raleigh, NC. This year’s Health Fair aimed to expand on practical preventative care and affordable treatment options for community members of all ages. Over 38 health care professionals volunteered for the event to provide personalized consultations and a variety of services and screenings.

Number of Lab tests conducted: CBC 550, Basic Metabolic Panel 550, Lipid Panel 550, Thyroid Function 550, Liver Function 550, Hemoglobin A1C 550, Vitamin B12/Folate 550.
Number of Screening Tests: Blood Pressure 567, Eye exam 32, Dental exam 71, Health Lectures: Diabetes 30, Thyroid 32.
Additionally, out of eight participants 3 signed up for ACA insurance program and six registered for Bone Marrow Drive.
