Influenza (“flu”) is a contagious disease, caused by the influenza virus, which can be spread by coughing, sneezing, or nasal secretions. On average, 226,00 people are hospitalized every year because of influenza and 36,000 die- mostly elderly (Source: CDC).
The best way to prevent seasonal flu is by getting a flu vaccination each year. A Flu Vaccination Drive was organized by BAPS Charities in San Jose, CA on October 18, 2015 benefiting 89 participants.
