Health Fair 2018 in San Jose, CA

On Sunday, September 30, 2018, BAPS Charities hosted the annual community Health Fair in San Jose, CA.  Over 200 individuals benefited from the volunteer services provided by 26 physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals who donated their time to advise participants on preventative care and provide tips to improve general health as well as mental wellbeing.

Number of patients seen by specialty: Internal Medicine/Family Practice (152), Cardiology (20), Nephrology (7), Ophthalmology (60), Dentistry (15), Physical Therapy (30), Nutrition/Dietitian (110)

Number of Lab tests conducted: CBC (105), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (105), Lipid Panel (105), Thyroid Function (105), Hemoglobin A1C (105)

Number of Screening Tests:  Blood Pressure (165), Eye exam (60), Dental exam (15)
